Hometown: Matteson, IL (Chicago suburb)
Dr. Crepinsek came to the Family Medicine Residency Program after five years of military medicine in the U.S. Air Force and 16 years of private practice, which included obstetrics. He has special interests in dermatology and sleep medicine.
In Dr. Crepinsek’s words, “born in 1955, a classic year. Been a physician and married for the same length of time (got married the day after graduation). Both my wife and medicine bring joy to my life. Been a runner since 1969 (over 50 years) and have done several marathons, including Boston. We homeschooled our children. I took my two oldest children through high school, while my wife did the younger ones. I am an elder/assistant pastor in my church. My faith is a big part of my life.”
Why Memorial: Left Illinois and came to Memorial Hospital’s Residency Program. Fell in love with the town. Left for military commitment and then came back to South Bend. It is a great place to practice.
