Bio: I am originally from a small village in Mexico. I moved to Bremen, Indiana, during elementary school. Living in rural communities has shaped my passion for family medicine and caring for underserved populations. I was drawn to family medicine after witnessing the compassion and dedication of the local physicians who cared for my family and served the Bremen community. As a first-generation and non-traditional physician, I understand the importance of compassionate and culturally sensitive care. I also value strong patient advocacy, particularly for patients facing language or access barriers. Throughout my higher education, my husband (Gustavo), children, and parents have been my greatest supporters and blessings. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing soccer, biking, and staying active in our parish.
