Hometown: St. Joseph, Michigan

Bio: Cara is originally from St. Joseph, Michigan where she attended Michigan Lutheran High School. She then went to Hope College where she played softball and was a diver while completing her Athletic Training degree. After graduation she worked as an athletic trainer at a variety of high schools, colleges and gymnastics clubs. She then attended A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Missouri Columbia.

Why Sports Medicine Fellowship at South Bend-Notre Dame: I love the variety of clinic practices, sports medicine physicians and different levels of sports coverage.

Clinical interests outside of Sports Medicine: Procedures, Pediatrics, Point of Care Ultrasound

Hobbies: Gardening, Traveling, Canning
