Our Geriatrics curriculum is dedicated to preparing the resident to care for the aging adult. While nursing home care is integrated into every curriculum, the Geriatrics curriculum will add three specific electives to enhance the resident’s knowledge of this particular patient population. Geared towards residents considering a geriatrics fellowship or planning to practice with an aging population, this curriculum will promote hands on learning opportunities within the nursing home, palliative care/hospice setting, and in the continuity clinic. A list and description of supplemental experiences can be found here.
