Bio: My journey in medicine has been shaped by the people who raised me, the communities that welcomed me, and the patients who have trusted me with their health and their stories. Throughout medical school, I found myself drawn to the relationships at the heart of medicine — whether educating patients in primary care clinics, comforting patients in procedural settings, caring for underserved populations, or participating in international medical outreach. As a family medicine resident, I am excited to pursue broad-spectrum training while exploring interests in women’s health, preventive medicine, community health, and global health. Obstetric care has been a particularly meaningful part of my journey, and I am especially excited to explore this passion further during my residency training, but I also love the versatility of family medicine and the opportunity to care for individuals and families across generations. My goal is to practice as broadly as possible while helping improve access to compassionate, high-quality care for all patients. Outside of medicine, you’ll usually find me spending time with family and friends, traveling, attending book club with my girlfriends, playing pickleball with my husband, or snuggling up with my Great Pyrenees and two cats. I believe many of life’s best moments are the ones shared with the people (and pets!) you love.
Why Memorial: From my very first interaction with Memorial Hospital, I felt something special about the program. Every resident, faculty member, and staff member I met was incredibly welcoming, authentic, and genuinely invested in one another’s success. The culture felt less like a residency program and more like a family, and I knew that was the kind of environment where I wanted to train. Memorial also offers the depth and breadth of training I was looking for in a family medicine residency. I was drawn to the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population, develop strong clinical autonomy, and gain experience across the full spectrum of family medicine. The program’s commitment to women’s health, procedural training, community engagement, and global health opportunities aligns closely with my professional interests and long-term goals. Finally, being able to train in the Midwest, close to my family and in-laws, made the decision even more meaningful. Memorial provides exceptional clinical training while allowing me to stay connected to the people who matter most. It truly felt like the perfect place to grow as both a physician and a person.
