My name is Miriam Adrianson. I was born in Chennai, India, but my family moved to Indianapolis when I was a baby, and I grew up just west of the city in Avon. I attended Hope College in Holland, MI, where I majored in chemistry and met the love of my life, my husband, Levi. I attended medical school at Indiana University’s South Bend campus and discovered my love for family medicine, particularly care of the underserved.
I knew that I wanted residency training that would give me confidence to provide full-spectrum care to my patients. As a student at IU’s South Bend campus, I had the privilege of interacting with several Memorial residents during my medical school rotations. I was quickly impressed by the strong community they had built and the competence and genuine care for their patients the residents exhibited. I am so grateful to be part of this program! I love traveling, cooking and spending time with my family.
